stood up for someone

On a soccer field, a player in a white jersey confronts a player in a blue jersey, who stands with his back turned, while another player in blue walks away in the background; the scene cuts to a man in a white t-shirt standing face-to-face with another man who is being held aloft by a woman in a black coat, as the man in the white t-shirt appears to be speaking to the man being held.
