Ball Iron

A small, metallic sphere is suspended between two horizontal metal plates in a clean, white environment. The top plate, held by a hand in a black glove, descends slowly, compressing the sphere until it deforms and flattens against the bottom plate, then retracts, leaving the sphere momentarily suspended again.
