Robotic tiles

A person walks across a series of interconnected, motorized platforms that move and shift in elevation beneath their feet, stepping from one to the next in a coordinated sequence. The platforms, which have exposed mechanical and electronic components, rise and fall in response to the person's weight and movement, creating a dynamic, responsive surface in a room with a dark floor and white walls.
