Gru stands in a kitchen, gesturing emphatically with both hands while speaking to a young girl with a high ponytail, who is seen from behind. The scene cuts to a close-up of the girl, who has wide eyes and an open mouth, her hands pressed to her cheeks in a look of shock or surprise, which she maintains as the camera holds on her face. The setting is a brightly lit indoor space, likely a kitchen or dining area, with red walls and a checkered floor visible in the background.
