The power of a shortcut

Three men sit on a grassy riverbank, each holding a fishing rod, as the man in the center reacts with surprise and then smiles while the two men on either side laugh and raise their hats. The scene cuts to a small motorboat moving across the water, then returns to the men on the bank, now all smiling and holding their hats aloft in celebration.
