How come ?

A toddler in pajamas sits on a bed and reaches toward a tabby cat, which then bats at the child's hand before leaping off the bed, causing the child to fall backward and then sit up again as the cat returns to the bed. The scene takes place in a dimly lit bedroom with a patterned headboard and a radiator in the background.
