tell me why

A man with shaving cream on his face looks down, then the scene cuts to a bird flying across a cloudy sky. A woman in a red room holds a birthday cake with lit candles, standing beside a yellow balloon. The scene shifts to a sink filled with hair, a razor, and a bottle, with hands resting in the water; blood appears on the hands and sinks into the water, and the image turns black and white.
