In a sepia-toned scene, Superman and Batman stand in a dimly lit, industrial environment, facing each other in a tense confrontation. The scene cuts to a black-and-white security camera view of a hooded figure with a scythe standing in an empty airport security area, then walking toward a checkpoint where two men in security uniforms react with surprise and alarm.
