A girl with short purple hair holds a tennis racket, then the scene cuts to a character being struck by a large, glowing ring, followed by a dramatic title card with Japanese text and the phrase "Death Requiem." The sequence continues with two girls in tennis attire crouching with rackets, while a third girl in a green outfit stands opposite them on a tennis court, as the subtitle indicates the move is impossible to defend against.
