The scene opens in a brightly lit prison cell with several men on bunk beds, then the lights go out, plunging the room into darkness. After a brief pause, the men begin to move, and the camera cuts to a close-up of hands manipulating a metal plate on the floor, followed by a view from below as the men look down through a hatch in the ceiling.
