The video cycles through a series of black screens with white text and images of orcas, beginning with a text message about an ex-girlfriend leaving a voicemail, followed by a shot of an orca swimming underwater, then a black screen, then the text "and i miss you," and finally a shot of an orca breaching the water's surface. The main subject is the orca, which appears in two different scenes, one swimming and one breaching, while the text provides a humorous narrative about a voicemail.
