SpongeBob and Patrick operate a large cannon from a sandbagged trench underwater, with Patrick shouting commands and SpongeBob looking determined, before the cannon fires and explodes in a cloud of white foam. A green submarine flies through the water, leaving a trail of red bubbles and white propeller swirls, then the scene cuts to a red, anthropomorphic crab in a military uniform shouting into a megaphone. Inside a dimly lit submarine, a small green creature with a light on its head works on a machine while bubbles rise around it.
