Rick Sanchez plays an acoustic guitar while singing with exaggerated expressions, alternating between a strained yell and a wide, excited smile, as a group of people watch him in a living room. The scene cuts between Rick's performance and the audience's reactions, showing a woman with red hair and a man in a yellow shirt smiling and clinking cups, and a wider shot of the audience, including a young girl with purple hair, watching Rick.
