A man in a suit stands at a podium and speaks, his mouth moving and head turning slightly. The scene cuts to soldiers in combat gear in a smoky environment, one aiming a rifle. This is followed by a close-up of a telegram announcing the death of a soldier in action. The sequence continues with a shot of buildings adorned with swastikas and eagles, then shows a man in a military uniform speaking at a podium. The setting shifts between a formal speaking event, a war zone, a military office, and a Nazi rally.
