An important role

A man in a suit stands with his back to the camera, facing a textured wall, and repeatedly raises his right hand to his mouth in a saluting motion while holding a hat in his left hand. The scene cuts to another man in a suit sitting in a room, who looks down at a hat in his lap, then slowly bows his head forward until his forehead rests on the hat.
