A soldier lies prone behind a mounted machine gun in a forested area, looking through the weapon's sights. The scene cuts to an aerial view of a river with a wooden bridge, where a large group of soldiers advances across it, followed by a ground-level shot of the empty bridge as the soldiers continue their advance.
