A young man lies on a bed, appearing to sleep, as another person's hand repeatedly pats and strokes his arm and hand. The man stirs slightly, his eyes open briefly, then closes them again, eventually smiling and pulling the hand toward him as if in a dream. The scene takes place in a dimly lit bedroom with a patterned blanket.
