Rope (1948)

Two men in suits stand over a table, one leaning forward to examine something while the other watches, then the man in the dark suit stands alone in a room, turns and walks away, and later confronts the man in the brown suit in a tense face-to-face exchange in a room with bookshelves and a city view at night.
