A young man with dark hair sits on a bed in a dimly lit room filled with bookshelves, his back to the viewer, then turns his head slightly. The scene cuts to a close-up of his face as he looks at a screen displaying Japanese text and a small image of another character, with the English phrases "Let's fall in love" and "Before we kiss" appearing on screen.
