A friend matters.

A man in a black jacket stands with hands raised, then the scene cuts to another man in a grey hoodie holding a book, who then grabs the first man from behind and wraps a white cloth around his head, transforming him into a figure in a green robe with the cloth as a head covering, who then resumes the raised-hand pose. The setting is a room with wooden walls and a bookshelf.
