Squidward is seen inside a dark, cylindrical structure with portholes, looking out with a frustrated expression before being sucked into a red, swirling vortex. The scene then cuts to SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, both wearing Santa hats, standing in a pile of mud on the ocean floor; they are initially smiling and waving, but then get covered in mud as it splashes over them, leaving them with mud on their heads and faces.
