Berserk hurt

A man with dark hair and a determined expression reaches out his hand, then extends it to grab the hand of a mummy-like figure falling through a dark void above a mass of red, screaming faces. The mummy, with a helmet and bandaged body, reaches back, their hands clasp, and the man pulls the mummy upward, but the mummy's hand is torn open, revealing blood and a severed tendril, before the mummy falls away into the darkness.
