The player opens a chest containing Meridia's Beacon and an Elven Bow of Dread, then the scene shifts to a third-person view where the character, Meridia, is seen standing on a wooden platform overlooking a mountainous landscape, with a subtitle indicating a new hand has touched the beacon.
