A rotating drum contains a mixture of small, dark, triangular metal pieces and larger, irregular metal fragments, which shift and tumble continuously as the drum rotates. The contents are periodically shown in two different states: one with dry, dark metal pieces and another with wet, light-colored, rounded fragments mixed with larger metal shards, suggesting a process of sorting or cleaning.
