Mating dances

A male greater prairie chicken with a yellow comb and purple air sacs performs a courtship display in a snowy field, spreading its wings and tail feathers while stomping its feet and moving forward. The bird's movements are rhythmic and deliberate as it struts across the snow-covered ground with a line of trees in the background.
