Push the tempo

A grotesque, emaciated figure in tattered, blood-stained clothing emerges from the doorway of a dilapidated log cabin, its mouth agape in a silent scream, as the camera cuts between the figure and the cabin's exterior, a snow-covered structure perched on stilts in a forest.
