Snack

A brown and tan corn snake coils in a clear plastic container with light blue bedding, its head raised and tongue flicking as it reacts to a small, pale pink object dangling from a thin stick held just above the surface. The snake repeatedly lunges forward, striking at the dangling object with rapid, jerky movements, its body tensing and releasing in a continuous loop of predatory motion.
