Letting go

A man with dark hair and a grey shirt sits in a dark, futuristic chair, his face contorted in a pained, tearful expression as he brings his hand to his mouth, covering it while tears stream down his face. The scene abruptly cuts to a different man with a beard and a patterned shirt, seen from the chest up, looking down into a dark, circular opening, then covering his face with his hand, with a video game menu in Russian text overlaid on the right side of the screen.
