A digital clock displays the time 10:39:39, then reverses to 10:39:38, before cutting to a nameplate for Col. Marcus Aurelius Belt, Space Shuttle Program Director. The scene shifts to an office where a man in a white shirt and tie stands behind a desk, removing his jacket as a woman in a red suit approaches and extends her hand.
