A man in a straw hat sits on a chair and repeatedly extends his arms forward, making a motion as if pushing or pulling an invisible object, while three others sit beside him on a bench, watching. The scene takes place indoors in a room with white walls, a wooden table holding a book and a cross, and a doorway in the background.
