Ascent

In a large hall with tall columns, a group of life-sized statues of men in suits are depicted in a continuous loop of motion, appearing to climb a set of wooden stairs while one figure repeatedly falls backward off the steps. The statues move in a synchronized, exaggerated manner, creating the illusion of a chaotic ascent and descent.
