Artistic solution

A young man and woman stand in a dimly lit, grimy underground space, illuminated by a single beam of light from a high window, as they face each other in tense conversation. The scene abruptly cuts to black, then reveals a grotesque clown figure with a white face and red lips emerging from the darkness, its face contorted in a sinister grin.
