An elderly man in a blue patterned sweater sits at a table as a black and white cat stands on the windowsill beside him, repeatedly nuzzling and rubbing its head against his cheek and ear. The man remains still, looking down and slightly toward the cat, while the cat moves its head back and forth in a gentle, affectionate motion. The scene takes place indoors near a window with a sheer curtain.
